What you'll do

Cloud Platform Engineer | Copenhagen | On-site We’re hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer for a technology company building SaaS and AI solutions for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. This is a hands-on opportunity to operate, improve and secure an established AWS environment. You’ll bring practical ownership and sound judgement to the platform that product teams build on. The role Product teams own their application infrastructure and deployments. You’ll own the shared platform foundations, helping teams work independently within clear, secure standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Running and improving a multi-account AWS environment, including account provisioning, governance and service control policies.
  • Managing identity and access, SSO, secrets and credential rotation.
  • Maintaining security baselines, infrastructure hardening and vulnerability management.
  • Improving monitoring, logging, alerting and tracing across products.
  • Owning backup policies, restore testing, disaster recovery and cost controls.
  • Supporting shared services, including CI, DNS, certificates and domains.
  • Building secure infrastructure for AI agents, with scoped access, audit trails and clear boundaries.

What we’re looking for You have strong hands-on AWS experience and enjoy keeping an existing platform secure, reliable and well maintained. You’re comfortable investigating problems, automating manual work and improving systems over time. Relevant experience includes:

  • AWS, particularly Organizations, IAM and multi-account governance.
  • Infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.
  • Docker and container orchestration on AWS.
  • Identity, SSO and secrets management; Auth0 experience is a plus.
  • CI/CD tooling. We currently use Buildkite, but experience with comparable systems is welcome.
  • Automation using Node.js or Bash.
  • Observability tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog or Better Stack.

Experience supporting ISO 27001 or similar compliance work is a strong advantage. You should also be able to explain technical decisions and their cost implications to colleagues outside infrastructure. You don’t need experience with every tool listed. Depth in AWS and identity, operational ownership and a willingness to learn matter most. Working arrangement This role is based in Copenhagen, with office attendance five days a week, core office hours of 09:00–15:00, and two work-from-home days per month. Interested?
