Pizza and Pasta Chef

WE ARE HIRING – Pizza and Pasta ChefWe are looking for a passionate, skilled, and motivated Chef / Kitchen Professional to join our growing team at our pizza restaurant in the Helsinki area.We currently specialise in pizza and kebab and are planning to introduce an authentic Sri Lankan food menu in January 2027. and Pasta Menu in December 2026 We are looking for someone with a passion for cooking and knowledge of different cuisines.Key Responsibilities1. Preparing pizza dough, pizza sauces, and pasta sauces from scratch. 2. Preparing ingredients and managing daily kitchen preparations. 3. Preparing different pasta dishes and having good knowledge of pasta menus. 4. Knowledge of Sri Lankan main courses, short eats, and traditional desserts. 5. Maintaining food quality, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene standards. 6. Understanding food allergies, allergens, and cross-contamination prevention. Requirements- Fluent English is a must. - Finnish language skills are mandatory (basic conversational Finnish is acceptable). - Sinhala language skills are a big advantage. - Experience in pizza and pasta preparation. - Knowledge of Sri Lankan cuisine is must. - Valid Finnish Hygiene Passport (Hygieniapassi) is required. - Valid Salmonella certificate / required proof of Salmonella health status is required. - Good understanding of professional kitchen operations, food safety, hygiene, and allergen management. EducationWe prefer candidates who have completed professional chef studies or are currently studying to become a chef.
