Pig Farm Worker – Climate & Finisher Sections Workplace Abed, Lolland, Denmark Job description We are looking for a reliable and experienced pig farm worker for a farm in Lolland, Denmark. The position mainly involves work in the climate section (klimastald) and finisher pig section (slagtesvin), together with general cleaning and daily farm tasks. You will join an established team where Romanian is the main working language, while basic English is required for communication when necessary. Main responsibilities - Daily work with pigs in the climate and finisher sections - Washing and cleaning stables - Moving and handling pigs - Monitoring pigs and reporting signs of illness or unusual behaviour - Maintaining good farm hygiene and biosecurity - Cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities - Supporting other daily farm tasks when required - Following animal welfare and safety procedures Requirements - Previous experience in pig production - Experience from climate/weaner and/or finisher sections is an advantage - Responsible and able to work independently - Comfortable working with animals - Physically fit and prepared for practical farm work - Basic communicative English - Romanian language is an advantage due to the existing team structure Salary and conditions - Salary: 130 DKK/hour gross - Accommodation: 3,000 DKK/month (If needed) - Electric bicycle provided for transportation between farm locations - Full-time farm work - Start: As soon as possible We offer - Work in an experienced international farm team - Practical onboarding to the farm routines - Accommodation available - Long-term employment possibility for the right candidate Application Please send your CV and a short description of your previous pig farm experience to: pl@bixter.com
