Performance Test Engineer

We are now looking for a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our R&D team in Oulu, Finland. What you'll do In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the scalability, reliability and performance of iLOQ services by designing, developing and executing performance tests for backend systems and APIs. You will work closely with software developers, architects and product owners to identify performance bottlenecks, analyze system behavior under load and support the delivery of robust, high-performing solutions. In this role you will: - Design, develop and maintain performance testing solutions for backend services and APIs - Plan, create and execute load, stress, endurance and scalability tests - Analyze performance test results and identify bottlenecks in applications, databases and infrastructure - Collaborate with software developers and architects to optimize system performance and reliability - Monitor system behavior during test execution and support root cause analysis - Develop and maintain performance testing frameworks, environments and test assets - Produce performance reports and provide recommendations for improvements - Support performance-related activities throughout the software development lifecycle - Contribute to continuous improvement of products, working methods, tools and quality practices together with the team What you'll bring - Relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) - Experience in software performance testing, load testing or non-functional testing - Experience testing backend systems, APIs and distributed services - Understanding of performance metrics such as response times, throughput, resource utilization and scalability - Experience with performance testing tools such as Locust - Python programming skills are considered an advantage - Experience analyzing logs, monitoring data and system metrics - Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS - Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Good communication and collaboration skills - Fluency in English, both written and spoken What you'll get We offer you a workplace within a collaborative and forward-thinking company culture.
