We are now looking for a People & Culture (P&C) Operations Manager who is passionate about leadership, operational excellence and creating the conditions for others to succeed. In this role, known internally as Country P&C Location Operational Services Manager, you will lead the P&C Operations team in Norway, with direct leadership responsibility for 10 co-workers. Together with your team, you are responsible for delivering recruitment, payroll, people administration and people data services to all IKEA units across Norway. In close collaboration with local P&C teams and our shared service organisation, Global Business Operations (GBO), you will ensure a seamless co-worker experience while driving quality, compliance and continuous improvement across our people processes. As a member of the Norway P&C Leadership Team, you play an important role in ensuring that our services, processes and ways of working support IKEA Norway's goals and ambitions.   • Lead and develop a team of 10 P&C specialists across recruitment, payroll, people administration and people data
  • Create clarity, focus and engagement through supportive and empowering leadership
  • Act as an escalation point, coach and sparring partner for your team
  • Ensure high-quality operational delivery, service excellence, compliance and risk management across P&C operations
  • Drive continuous improvement, simplification and standardisation of ways of working
  • Support the implementation of new initiatives, programs and services
  • Build strong partnerships with local P&C Managers, matrix stakeholders and GBO teams
  • Contribute to shaping the P&C agenda in Norway as a member of the Norway P&C Leadership Team

  • Experience from People & Culture, HR or other people-focused functions
  • Experience working across stakeholders in a matrixed organisation
  • Experience collaborating with Shared Service Centres
  • The ability to navigate and collaborate in a complex, international environment
  • Confidence communicating and building strong relationships in both English and Norwegian
