Pega Front End Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define front-end architecture and guide application delivery using Pega Constellation.
• Translate business requirements and complex workflows into intuitive, responsive user experiences.
• Design integrations using Pega Digital Experience (DX) APIs to support Pega and external front-end applications.
• Establish design system standards, reusable patterns and governance aligned with Constellation capabilities.
• Assess existing Section-based and Theme Cosmos implementations and define migration approaches to Constellation.
• Ensure accessibility, usability and performance are considered throughout design and delivery.
• Collaborate with Lead System Architects, Senior System Architects, Business Architects and UI/UX designers.
• Provide technical guidance, review solution designs and support delivery teams in resolving front-end challenges.
• Document architectural decisions, integration patterns and implementation standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong experience designing and delivering front-end solutions on the Pega platform.
• Hands-on experience with Pega Constellation architecture and its design system.
• Experience integrating Pega applications through DX APIs and REST services.
• Strong understanding of React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern front-end architecture.
• Ability to balance low-code configuration with justified custom component development.
• Understanding of Pega case management, workflows and their relationship to the user experience.
• Experience with responsive design and WCAG accessibility requirements.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions clearly.
• Experience providing architectural direction and mentoring development teams.

Desirable Experience

• Migration from traditional Pega UI or Theme Cosmos to Constellation.
• Development of custom Constellation DX components.
• Delivery of enterprise applications across multiple channels.
• Relevant Pega certifications.
