Payments & Liquidity - Temporary position

Do you have experience with international payments? Or are you a recent graduate and want to build expertise in payment services, liquidity management and banking? Then this may be the opportunity for you. Swedbank is looking for a temporary hire to join our international payments and liquidity team at the Oslo office. We are looking for either an experienced professional who can quickly step into the role, or a newly graduated candidate with a strong interest in payment processes and how international transactions are handled in banking. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with key processes in the bank and gain insight into how international payments, liquidity management and financial transactions are handled in practice. In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

• Work with and learn how international payments and financial processes work end-to-end
• Contribute to the development of our checkout and payment processes
• Collaborate closely with different departments and build insight into the bank's operations and financial infrastructures

What is needed in this role:

• We are looking for you who have experience from banking in international payments and financial infrastructures, and preferably that you have worked in TietoEvry's systems ProFX/TPH, or are a recent graduate in economics, accounting, finance or similar subject area
• You are motivated by operational work and enjoy being close to daily processes and problem solving
• You have an analytical and structured way of working, and are comfortable with tasks that require precision and accuracy
• You learn new systems quickly and are confident in navigating complex processes
• You communicate clearly and professionally in both Norwegian and English
• You collaborate well with others and work in an organized, solution-oriented and professional manner
• We are looking for someone who is curious, thorough and likes to understand the mechanisms behind financial and technical processes.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations, payment processing, and liquidity management at the branch, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of all related transactions and activities
• Handling incoming and outgoing international payments
• Currency exchange and exchange rate setting
• Financing and disbursement of loans and credits
• Spot/foreign exchange transactions
• Participation in treasury and payment-related projects
• Provide general support related to payments and the bank's funding activities
