What you'll do

We are looking for a part-time Visual Content & Marketing Intern who can turn technical knowledge into clear, interesting content while gaining professional experience. The main focus of the role is copywriting and content creation for NSGS and our work. About NSGS Nordic Smart Grid Solutions (NSGS) is a renewable energy startup in Copenhagen. We are an international energetic team that work with battery energy storage systems across the project lifecycle. NSGS handles commissioning, provides technical support, and provides our clients with a field intelligence tool called SiteKick. We operate in a technical B2B environment. The Role We are looking for a part-time intern with a strong interest in visual content, design, and creative communication. You will work closely with our marketing specialist to develop new ideas for how NSGS presents itself across LinkedIn, our website, newsletters, and product communication. We work in a technical B2B industry, so a big part of the role is finding more engaging and visual ways to communicate topics that can otherwise feel complex or technical. You do not need experience from the energy sector. We are more interested in your visual sense, creativity, and willingness to experiment. We expect curiosity, good communication, and a willingness to learn. What you will work with:

  • Create visual content for LinkedIn, our website, newsletters, presentations, and other marketing channels.
  • Develop graphics, layouts, simple videos, and other visual formats that make technical topics easier to understand.
  • Work together with our marketing specialist on new content ideas, formats, and campaigns.
  • Turn input from engineers and technical specialists into clear and visually engaging communication.
  • Support the development of a more consistent and recognizable visual style across NSGS channels.
  • Assist with writing LinkedIn posts, website copywriting, newsletters, and other short-form marketing content.
  • Support content planning and help keep NSGS communication consistent across channels.

Who are we looking for Anyone who is interested in gaining experience or extending their portfolio in content creation. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating things visually. Your exact educational background is less important than your interest in creating visual content. You enjoy coming up with new ideas and trying different visual formats. Maybe you have experience creating graphics, social media content, presentations, video, photography, or other visual work. You are comfortable asking questions when a topic is technical or unfamiliar. You can work in a team, meet agreed deadlines and take ownership of smaller content tasks. Interest in energy, technology or B2B marketing is also a plus, but not required. We encourage all willing and curious candidates to apply regardless of background. We are interested in how you think, write, and communicate, not a perfect CV. What we offer

  • Experience you can use in your marketing portfolio.
  • The opportunity to publish work that is used in real client and market communication.
  • Room to test content ideas and improve how we communicate technical information.
  • Flexible working hours that can be planned around classes and exam periods.

How to apply Send us your CV and a short motivation paragraph. A formal cover letter is not required. If applicable, please also send us a few examples of visual work you have created. This does not need to be professional work. It can be personal projects, university or school work, social media content, videos, graphics, photography, or something you simply made for fun. Application email: mariana.revaha@nsgs.dk Application deadline: Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis. Practical information: Position: Visual Content & Marketing Intern Main focus: Content creation Hours: Approx. 10-12 hours per week, with flexibility around studies Location: Coworking space where the NSGS office is located, in the center of Copenhagen Start date: As soon as possible Salary: Unpaid
