What you'll do
Join OSM Thome as an Ordinary Seaman (OS) on crude oil tankers trading worldwide. Be part of a safe, professional deck crew and build your seagoing career with an experienced ship manager.
- Key responsibilities:

- Assist deck officers and Bosun in daily deck operations
- Handle mooring and unmooring operations safely
- Carry out chipping, painting, cleaning and general maintenance
- Assist with cargo and ballast operations as instructed
- Perform lookout and gangway watch duties
- Follow all safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
- Requirements:

- Valid STCW Basic Safety Training and seaman’s book
- Previous experience as OS, preferably on tankers
- Tanker familiarization / basic tanker training (Oil) is an advantage
- Good spoken and written English
- Medically fit for sea service
- Safety-minded, hardworking and willing to learn
