Oracle Database/Exadata Engineering Specialist

emagine is seeking an Oracle Database/Exadata Engineering Specialist with extensive experience in Retail Financial Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing database platforms with a focus on strategy, architecture, compliance, and hosting critical applications. A proficiency in automated provisioning and operations, along with solid technical expertise, is essential. Main Responsibilities The specialist will lead in designing and implementing database solutions while ensuring platform compliance.

• Oversee the architecture and development of Oracle Database environments.
• Manage PLSQL development and performance tuning investigations.
• Ensure platform compliance and risk management.
• Configure services using ServiceNow.
• Design and implement service continuity frameworks.
• Implement privileged access management solutions.
• Facilitate automated provisioning of databases.
• Employ Ansible for automation processes.
• Deploy infrastructure using Terraform.

• Oracle Database – Architecture, Development, Strategy
• PLSQL development skills
• Expertise in performance tuning and investigations
• Knowledge of platform compliance and risk management
• Experience with Service Configuration Management using ServiceNow
• Designing and implementing Service Continuity
• Implementation of Privileged Access Management tools
• Automated provisioning experience
• Familiarity with GitHub and related tools
• Proficiency in Ansible and Terraform
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana
• Knowledge of AWS RDS Oracle
