📍 Location: Eskilstuna, Sweden 💼 Role: Operational Planner – Professional We are looking for an Operational Planner to join a dynamic and international Service Market Logistics organization. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supply chain, data analytics, digitalization, and continuous improvement. About The Role As an Operational Planner, you will be responsible for parts distribution planning across global Distribution Centers. You will analyze supply chain performance, identify deviations, take corrective actions, and work closely with stakeholders across Distribution Centers and different business areas. The role combines traditional operational planning with an increasing focus on data, advanced analytics, automation, and digital technologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize parts distribution planning for global Distribution Centers.
  • Monitor, analyze, and visualize supply chain performance.
  • Identify deviations from targets and initiate corrective actions.
  • Proactively identify current and future supply chain challenges.
  • Collaborate with Distribution Centers, business teams, and other global stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Analyze large datasets and translate findings into clear business insights.
  • Support the organization's digital transformation within supply chain planning.
  • Explore opportunities involving advanced analytics, AI, machine learning, and cloud-based planning solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • University education in Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or another relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and communicate analytical results clearly.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Self-driven mindset with the ability to take ownership and drive initiatives.
  • Strong interest in supply chain, logistics, digitalization, and data-driven decision-making.

Relevant Technical Skills Experience or a strong interest in some of the following areas is highly valuable:

  • Python, Java and/or SQL
  • Microsoft Azure
  • DevOps
  • Agile ways of working
  • AI / Machine Learning
  • Cloud-based solutions and data analytics

Experience or academic knowledge within logistics, inventory management, supply chain planning, or parts distribution is highly advantageous. You enjoy solving complex problems, working with data, and collaborating across organizational boundaries. You do not need to be an expert in every technical area.
