What you'll do

The Role MNK Forsikring is establishing its presence in Denmark following the acquisition of ETU Forsikring, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced and operationally focused Office & Operations Manager to play a key role in supporting the next phase of the business's growth. Based in Copenhagen, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the office while acting as a key local coordinator across administration, HR activities, facilities and business operations. As the central point of contact for office management, suppliers, employee support and workplace operations, you will help create an efficient, professional and welcoming working environment. Working closely with local management and Group functions, you will play an important role in establishing effective processes, supporting employees and ensuring the business is well-positioned for continued growth. In the initial phase, the role will also lead the coordination of the company's move to new premises, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition and successful office set-up. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, hands-on and highly organised individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership and helping build operations from the ground up. Key Responsibilities: Office Management & Administration

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration and smooth running of the Copenhagen office, including facilities, supplies, post, e-Boks and general office operations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for office-related enquiries from employees, suppliers, landlords and building management.
  • Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements and diary management support for senior management, where required.
  • Maintain office systems, records and documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support the onboarding of new employees, including workplace set-up, equipment, access arrangements and related administration.
  • Coordinate local HR-related activities, including employee documentation, workplace administration and liaison with Group HR and external providers as required.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers, including cleaning, catering, IT support, stationery and courier services.
  • Monitor and administer office-related contracts and service agreements.
  • Assist with the organisation of company meetings, employee events and other business activities.
  • Support broader business operations and administrative initiatives as the Danish business continues to grow.

Office Relocation & Set-Up

  • Coordinate the relocation to new Copenhagen premises, ensuring activities are managed effectively and delivered within agreed timelines.
  • Liaise with landlords, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout the office set-up process.
  • Coordinate office fit-out activities, furniture procurement, IT infrastructure requirements and workplace facilities.
  • Manage the logistics associated with the office move, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Support a range of administrative and operational projects associated with the business's continued growth and development.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across MNK Group to support office and administrative requirements during the transition period.
  • Identify and coordinate local service providers and operational resources required to support the growing business.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an Office Manager, Business Operations, Executive Assistant or similar operational leadership role.
  • Experience within insurance, financial services or another regulated industry is preferred.
  • Proven experience supporting business operations in a growing organisation, with the ability to oversee multiple administrative and operational workstreams.
  • Fluent in both Danish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience coordinating local HR activities, including employee onboarding, workplace administration, documentation and liaison with external providers and Group HR teams.
  • Strong understanding of office operations, facilities management and vendor coordination.
  • Experience supporting office relocations, workplace set-up projects or organisational growth initiatives would be advantageous.
  • Highly organised with strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership in a newly established and evolving business environment.
  • Professional and confident communicator, able to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive, hands-on and solutions-oriented, with the ability to anticipate business needs and drive activities through to completion.
  • High levels of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint.

What We Offer: This is an opportunity to join a growing insurance business at an exciting stage of its development and play a key role in establishing its operations in Denmark. You will have the opportunity to shape the administrative and operational foundations of the business, working closely with local leadership and MNK Group stakeholders.
