Night Receptionist (on-caller)

We are looking for a reliable and service-minded Night Receptionist who takes pride in making every guest feel genuinely welcome, cared for, and in safe hands – no matter the hour. This is a on-call position with no guaranteed number of hours, where you will support our permanent night team during holidays, sickness, busy periods, and whenever extra support is needed. Shifts are scheduled between 21:45 and 07:00. Your Role As a Night Receptionist, you are an important ambassador for Admiral throughout the night. You may be the last person a guest meets before heading to their room – or the first friendly face they see before an early departure. With 366 rooms and guests from all over the world, you can expect nights that require both independence, good judgement, and genuine attentiveness. For us, great hospitality is found in the details. It is about noticing what a guest needs, taking ownership, and creating a warm and personal experience – also at 3 o’clock in the morning. Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Welcoming, checking in, and checking out guests, including cash and payment handling.
• Handling reservations and relevant reception tasks.
• Answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries.
• Carrying out administrative duties and night reception routines.
• Being present and available for our guests throughout the night.
• Handling guest requests and finding solutions with professionalism and care.
• Contributing to a safe, calm, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure a smooth handover between evening, night, and morning teams.

• You genuinely enjoy creating great experiences for other people and understand that excellent hospitality is both professional and personal.
• You take responsibility and set high standards for your work. You notice the details, stay calm when something unexpected happens, and are comfortable making decisions independently.
• At the same time, you bring warmth and personality to every interaction. We believe that the best service feels authentic – not scripted.
• Experience from a similar role within hospitality is an advantage, but your mindset and approach to people are just as important to us.
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. Danish is not a requirement, and additional languages are considered a plus.
• You have strong IT skills, and experience with Mews or another hotel booking system is an advantage.

As this is an on-call position, it is important that you are flexible and able to take night shifts when needed, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
