Network Ethernet Hardware Engineer

We are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles & responsibilities :- Network Ethernet Hardware Engineer Gothenburg, Sweden Role Summary: Core Technical Competence Requirements:

• Deep knowledge of Automotive Ethernet and IEEE 802.3 standards
• Strong experience with PHY/MAC interfaces, SerDes and signal integrity
• Advanced oscilloscope usage (high-speed measurements, decoding, eye diagrams, jitter, triggering)
• Hands-on lab debugging and hardware validation
• Packet/frame-level analysis using tools such as Wireshark
• Understanding of switch architectures (VLANs, QoS, TSN, buffering, forwarding behavior)
• Experience with embedded Linux or RTOS environments and low-level drivers
• Hardware bring-up, board validation and component-level debugging
• Knowledge of automotive Ethernet communication L2/L3 protocols (UDP, TCP/IP, SOME/IP)
• Knowledge of software build chain using GitLab/Git/Jenkins
• Hands-on experience in programming languages Python/C/C++
