Role Description This full-time remote role as an L2 Lan–Wlan Network Engineer involves providing second-line support for enterprise LAN and WLAN infrastructures. Responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting network incidents, analyzing logs and performance metrics, and resolving connectivity and configuration issues in coordination with L1 and L3 teams. The Network Engineer will implement and validate changes, maintain network documentation, and ensure adherence to security and compliance standards. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in problem management and root cause analysis, and contributing to continuous improvement of network operations and service quality. The engineer will interact with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate status, and support stable, reliable network services. Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong LAN/WLAN networking skills, including switch and router configuration, wireless controller management, and VLAN, STP, and routing protocol knowledge.
  • Candidates should possess solid experience with network troubleshooting tools and methodologies, such as packet analyzers, monitoring platforms, and diagnostic commands.
  • Candidates should possess familiarity with network security practices, including access control, authentication, encryption for wireless networks, and basic firewall concepts.
  • Candidates should possess skills in documenting network changes, creating runbooks, and maintaining accurate configuration records and diagrams.
  • Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in distributed teams and support stakeholders in English.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent vendor certifications are highly beneficial.
  • Experience in enterprise or service provider environments, especially in remote support or consulting roles, is an advantage.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
