Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer for a 12-month assignment with a global client. As a Network Engineer, you will join the local Digital team and be responsible for implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and continuously improving the network infrastructure supporting both production and office environments. This is a hands-on role where network reliability, security, and operational continuity are critical. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, maintain, and improve enterprise network infrastructure across production and office environments.
• Support and troubleshoot wired and wireless network infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain network security technologies, including firewalls and network access control.
• Support Cisco switching and routing environments.
• Work with 802.1X, NAC, and network authentication solutions.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents and infrastructure issues.
• Support SD-WAN and MPLS environments.
• Contribute to network automation and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Participate in network modernization, capacity planning, and infrastructure changes.
• Work closely with local and global Digital teams, suppliers, and business stakeholders.
• Support production-critical network activities and infrastructure changes when required.
• Maintain technical documentation, network configurations, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field.
• Strong professional experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco switching and routing, preferably in large-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, particularly 802.1X.
• Experience with Cisco ISE / Network Access Control (NAC).
• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Experience with network automation and/or infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Strong experience managing enterprise firewalls, such as Palo Alto or Fortinet.
• Solid knowledge of SD-WAN and MPLS.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Professional proficiency in English.

Preffered Experience:

• Enterprise wireless networking.
• Strong understanding of 802.11 standards.
• Experience with WPA2/WPA3 and Wi-Fi security.
• Wi-Fi deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise network environments.
• Experience from industrial, manufacturing, automotive, or other mission-critical environments.
• Experience with network monitoring and management platforms.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure modernization.
