Motorman (MTM) / Oiler | Bulkcarrier

Join OSM Thome as Motorman / Oiler on our bulk carriers trading worldwide. Work closely with the engine team to keep all machinery and equipment in safe and efficient working condition.

• Key responsibilities:
• Assist watchkeeping engineers with daily engine room duties
• Carry out routine oiling, greasing and cleaning of machinery
• Perform maintenance on pumps, purifiers, compressors and auxiliary equipment
• Monitor and report leaks, abnormal sounds and any defects
• Follow safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping in the engine room
• Assist during bunkering, transfers and other engine-related operations
• Requirements:
• Valid Motorman / Oiler (MTM) certificate and STCW documents
• Previous sea service in engine room, preferably on bulk carriers
• Good understanding of engine room operations and safety
• Fit for duty with valid medical certificate
• Ability to work in a multinational team and follow instructions clearly
