Microsoft D365 F&O Commerce Lead - (Contract) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6 months+ Location: Malmo, Sweden Work Mode: Hybrid – (candidates should be available to work on site when required) Rate: Market Rate HCLTech is looking for an experienced D365 F&O Commerce Configuration Lead. The role will define and establish a simple, scalable way to manage global and retailer-specific configuration as a package across our client's D365 environments. A key focus is using automation, Microsoft agents and custom AI-based solutions to reduce manual work, improve quality, current ways of working and support reliable deployment. You will work across product, architecture, and business teams, keeping priorities clear, progress visible, and work moving forward. Requirements:

• Define the strategy and process for managing D365 FO and Commerce configuration as a package.
• Establish a practical way of working for managing configuration across environments.
• Define how global and retailer-specific configurations are structured, maintained, versioned and deployed.
• Work with Finance, Commerce, integration teams, Product Owners, and Functional Architects to embed the agreed approach into daily delivery.
• Create manual, automated, semi-automated and AI-based solutions for configuration management and deployment.
• Explore Microsoft and custom agents to reduce manual work and improve quality.
• Support global rollouts and identify configuration risks, dependencies, and gaps.
• Create clear, reusable documentation and guidance.

Experience:

• Microsoft Dynamics365 Finance & Operations and Commerce
• Azure DevOps and CI&CD pipelines
• Jira: boards, JQL and dashboards
• Confluence
• Automation and AI / agent-based tools

The aim is to make configuration clear, repeatable, traceable, and easy to deploy across target environments. What You Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with D365 Finance & Operations, preferably Commerce/Retail.
• Experience managing configuration as a package across multiple D365 environments.
• Experience with configuration management, version control, deployment, and release activities.
• Understanding of Finance, Commerce, and integration dependencies.
• Experience with automation; AI or agent-based automation is an advantage.
• Ability to turn complex topics into simple, practical solutions.
• Comfortable working across global technical, product, and business teams.
