MEP Project Manager

Project Manager – MEP (Data Centre Construction) We are recruiting on behalf of a client for an experienced Project Manager with an MEP background to lead the mechanical, electrical and plumbing works on a data centre construction project. This is a permanent position. About the role You will take ownership of the MEP delivery on a large-scale, mission-critical construction project, working closely with the wider project team, subcontractors and specialist suppliers to ensure the works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage all MEP works throughout the project lifecycle, from design coordination through to commissioning and handover
• Manage MEP subcontractors and suppliers, including procurement, scheduling and performance
• Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, structural and civil teams to ensure smooth integration of MEP systems
• Monitor progress against programme and budget, identifying and mitigating risks early
• Ensure compliance with relevant Swedish and EU regulations, codes and health & safety standards
• Support quality assurance and commissioning processes for critical systems (power, cooling, fire, etc.)
• Act as a key point of contact for MEP-related matters with internal stakeholders and site teams

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong MEP background
• Experience delivering large, technically complex projects; data centre or other mission-critical/critical infrastructure experience is highly advantageous
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and their integration into complex builds
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent professional experience
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
• Data centre experience is essential
