What you'll do

GemPool Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced MEP Coordinator to join a leading international engineering contractor on a major data centre project in Denmark. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale European construction project, coordinating mechanical and electrical activities and ensuring effective communication between engineering teams, subcontractors and site operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating MEP installations, resolving technical challenges and ensuring project delivery meets the required quality standards and timelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities across multiple work packages.
  • Act as the main point of coordination between MEP subcontractors, design teams and site management.
  • Review technical drawings, specifications and submittals to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Manage RFIs and design queries, ensuring technical issues are resolved efficiently.
  • Work closely with mechanical, electrical, CSA and commissioning teams.
  • Monitor construction progress, quality standards and technical risks.
  • Identify and resolve potential design and installation conflicts.
  • Support QA/QC processes and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an MEP Coordinator, MEP Engineer or similar position.
  • Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Experience working on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor or industrial construction projects.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, QA/QC procedures and commissioning activities.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Role Details:

  • Contract: Permanent.
  • Rotation: 3 weeks on, 1 week off.
  • Relocation assistance and accommodation support.
