Meat Cutter / Guide

We are looking for a meat cutter / guide to join our team at the Aurora Reindeer farm in Utsjoki, Finnish Lapland. The meat cutter position is based in Utsjoki during October and November. The guide duties are located in Rovaniemi, Levi, Inari, and Utsjoki from the beginning of December onwards.

The job involves cutting and processing reindeer meat in accordance with hygiene and quality standards, guiding customers during farm visits and safaris, and participating in daily reindeer herding tasks.

We expect you to have experience in meat cutting. Experience in tourism or guiding roles is considered a plus. We hope you enjoy customer service, speak English, and are willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. A hygiene certificate is considered an asset.

The position begins as a fixed-term reindeer meat cutting role for the duration of the reindeer processing season. Once the season ends, the job will continue during the winter tourism season with guiding duties on reindeer farm tours and reindeer safaris.
