Meal Prep Chef

Noêma is growing, and we are looking for a reliable professional chef to join our small chef team. IMPORTANT: This role is only open to chefs who are currently based in Oslo or the surrounding area and already have the right to work in Norway. This is not a relocation position. The work is fully in-person in clients’ homes across Oslo. Remote work is not possible. The main role is preparing weekly meals for families in their own homes. You will normally work independently for one client at a time, following a clear menu and service brief provided by Noêma. The work

• Flexible daytime assignments, usually 3–4 hours per service
• Weekly meal preparation in clients’ homes
• Occasional opportunities to assist with private dinners and events
• No fixed full-time schedule — assignments increase as our client base grows
• Oslo or Stavanger

We are looking for someone who

• Has professional kitchen experience
• Can work confidently and efficiently without supervision
• Is organised, clean and reliable
• Enjoys Mediterranean food and cooking from quality ingredients
• Communicates well in English or Norwegian
• Is comfortable working directly with private clients
• Takes pride in leaving the kitchen as clean as they found it

Experience from fine dining is welcome but not required. Reliability, good judgement and strong cooking fundamentals matter more to us. This can work particularly well alongside another part-time position or for a chef looking for flexible daytime work. Pay: competitive hourly rate based on experience. Interested?
