MCA Motion Safety Engineer

Scope of the Role: Support the efforts of the Motion Control & Automation Group (MCAG) of implementing Functional Safety of Moving Machinery (Motion Safety) on Neutron Instruments; integrate the respective system into the motion control PLC system. Requirements

• Engineering degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years in developing, integrating and commissioning industrial automation systems
• Experience in verification and validation of industrial automation systems
• Experience in documenting these systems
• Evaluation of motion hazards and definition of motion safety requirements according to EN ISO 12100 and 13849; knowledge of the respective processes and workflow
• Design of functional safety systems
• Knowledge of the validation process of functional safety on moving machinery
• Knowledge of preparing the respective documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent oral and written English skills are mandatory
• Hungarian citizenship and fluent Hungarian language skills are mandatory
