Master thesis: Antenna AI-assisted Design

Join our Team About this opportunity: Join Ericsson for a master’s thesis on AI-assisted RF and microwave filter–antenna design. You will develop, evaluate, and validate methodologies for designing RF filters/antennas, leveraging electromagnetic simulation tools and AI. What you will do:

• Study the requirements and design challenges associated with RF and microwave filters and antennas
• Use electronic CAD tools
• Perform detailed design and performance evaluation on the manufactured board(s)
• Document your methodology, results and conclusions in a master’s thesis report
• Present your work to Ericsson’s engineering teams

The skills you bring:

• You are an MSc student in electrical engineering, engineering physics, computer science or a related field
• Some previous experience with at least one of ADS, HFSS, AWR/Microwave Office
• Familiarity with electronic CAD tools, such as Cadence or KiCad
• You have completed one or more courses in Antenna/Microwave/RF design, technology and/or theory
• You are analytical, curious and interested in combining RF and microwave engineering
