Master (CPT) | Tanker - LPG - Ethylene

Join OSM Thome as Master (CPT) on board modern LPG/Ethylene tankers trading worldwide. Lead a safe, efficient and compliant vessel operation while guiding and developing your crew in a professional working environment.

• Key responsibilities:
• Overall command of the vessel, crew and cargo operations
• Ensure safe navigation, mooring and manoeuvring at all times
• Maintain strict compliance with company, flag state and international regulations
• Oversee cargo handling, loading/discharging and gas operations with focus on safety
• Lead onboard safety culture, drills and emergency preparedness
• Manage crew performance, discipline and training
• Coordinate with office, charterers, terminals and port authorities
• Requirements:
• Valid Master Mariner (Unlimited) CoC
• Proven experience as Master on LPG and/or Ethylene tankers
• Strong knowledge of tanker safety, ISM, ISPS and MARPOL
• Good leadership, communication and crew management skills
• Valid STCW certificates, tanker endorsements and medicals
• Good command of English, written and spoken
• Willingness to work in worldwide trade and mixed-nationality crews
