What you'll do

Who are we? We are three young founders running two brands in the golf industry: Hills Golf and Samuel Church. This role works across both. Hills Golf is a global e-commerce company that we have built in under a year into a brand selling worldwide, with a primary focus on the US market. It is where most of our marketing runs today, and it has grown fast enough that we cannot always keep up with it ourselves. Samuel Church is our newest brand: premium golf apparel, designed in Copenhagen, and the one we expect to scale significantly through 2027. It is being built from the ground up right now. The playbook that made Hills work is already in place, and Samuel Church is where we apply it to something new. Both brands sit under BW Capital. From our Copenhagen office the three of us run the full business, backed by an international team handling production, video and editing, logistics and much else. The team is spread across the USA, Kosovo and China. The office is a place we actually enjoy being. Short decisions, high tempo, no rigid corporate frameworks, and an office dog turning up now and then. Unfortunately no delicious canteen lunch, but the fridge is stocked and there are fresh beans in the coffee machine ☕ What will you be doing? We spend around DKK 2 million a month on marketing across our brands, so you will be working on campaigns with real budgets and real reach behind them, a good part of it on building Samuel Church. The tasks are many, and we know it is hard for one person to cover all of it. So we are hiring several people and will shape each role around your strengths. The areas we particularly need help with:

  • Campaigns and paid media - running campaigns from first idea to launch
  • Competitor and market research - digging into competitors’ ads and concepts to work out what works, and why
  • Organic social media - growing our channels, producing and posting content
  • Email marketing - building and sending campaigns to our customer base
  • Creator campaigns - working with larger creators, from outreach to finished campaign
  • Physical campaigns - helping plan and execute larger activations outside the digital channels

You will also work closely with our international team across production and operations, so you get to see how a campaign goes from an idea in Copenhagen to filmed content and finished product. In a startup, no two weeks look the same. We are also trying to AI our way out of everything and automate wherever we can, so if you like automations and flows, that is a significant plus. Who are we looking for? A student with a genuine hunger for startup culture, who takes ownership and sees tasks through. You take initiative, you handle a busy day well, and you actually want to be here. That last part matters to us. You should enjoy getting properly deep into marketing: campaigns, branding, ads, and why one creative works and another does not. Bachelor’s or master’s, and your background, matter less than your drive. You do not need e-commerce experience, as almost nobody does, although it is certainly a bonus. We would rather find someone with the right attitude and teach them the playbook from A to Z. What do we offer?

  • DKK 170–220 an hour, depending on your background
  • 300 m² of office in the heart of Copenhagen
  • Flexibility, with room to study and do whatever else life throws at you
  • Real responsibility and influence from day one
  • Proper training rather than being thrown in at the deep end
  • Sodas, coffee and a relaxed, ambitious atmosphere

The practical stuff Start as soon as we find the right person. 20–30 hours a week, adjusted around exams. On-site in Copenhagen. We are hiring several people, and we hire with the intention of keeping you on, also after you finish studying. Application Sound like you? Send a short application and your CV to info@samuel-church.com. We gladly receive CVs, preferably ones that are not completely impersonal and AI-generated. We value personality and drive over the perfect résumé. Rasmus is handling the hiring for this role, so feel free to reach out to him directly if you have any questions before applying. We run interviews on a rolling basis and hire as soon as we meet the right people, so do not wait too long to apply.
