What you'll do

Unpaid internship · mentorship-led · real projects · potential path to paid role (no guarantee) About Folke Folke Furniture is a D2C furniture brand from Copenhagen. We make modular sofas that ship in boxes, assemble in minutes, and rearrange whenever life does. Built for people who move often and live in real homes with stairs, doorways, and changing needs. We’re a young company, which means you’ll be close to real decisions, not just watching from the side. Become part of Folke Foundry Folke Foundry is our internship program: learn by building. You’ll get a clear project scope, weekly feedback from the founders, and finish with work you can point to (portfolio + references). This is an unpaid internship, and we’re upfront about that, so we work hard to make it genuinely valuable for you. If it’s a great match, you’ll be among the first we consider when paid roles open (no promises, just honest intent). Your role: Marketing intern, social media & influencer marketing You’ll help us grow Folke’s presence on Instagram and TikTok and build relationships with creators who fit the Folke universe. You’ll work on both sides: the content we publish ourselves and the content that comes from partnerships. You’ll work directly with the founders and the content team and see how a young brand plans, publishes, and measures social content from the ground up. You’ll work on things like:

  • Planning and scheduling our social content calendar and drafting captions and ideas for posts, Reels, and TikToks
  • Researching and mapping relevant creators across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Building outreach lists and helping manage conversations with creators and potential brand partners
  • Supporting collaboration planning: seeding, gifted partnerships, paid opportunities, and launch campaigns
  • Collecting and organizing creator and customer content (with permission) to reuse across our channels
  • Tracking performance across social and creator campaigns: reach, engagement, replies, conversion signals, and brand fit
  • Keeping influencer and content workflows in Notion / Sheets so outreach, follow-up, shipping, and status stay clear and simple
  • Watching trends, competitors, and content styles that feel native to Folke and to the way people live with the product

What we’re looking for

  • Currently studying, or recently graduated, in marketing, communication, media, business, or a related field
  • A genuine habit of using Instagram and TikTok, and a feel for what makes content work on each
  • Clear, friendly writing in English. Danish, German, or Dutch is a plus, since we work with creators in those markets, but it is not necessary.
  • Good organization and follow-through: you keep track of details and close the loop
  • Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Interest in furniture, interiors, and D2C brands
  • A personal or student social account, project, or portfolio we can look at is welcome, but not required

What you get We want you to leave Folke better than you found it and grow yourself stronger than you arrived. You’ll get:

  • Real ownership: a defined set of projects that matter (not “random helping out”)
  • Weekly mentorship with the founders (clear feedback and support)
  • A portfolio outcome: concrete deliverables you can show and talk about
  • A strong reference if you deliver strong work
  • Priority consideration for future paid roles if there’s mutual fit (no guarantees)
  • A front-row seat to how a modern brand grows through social media, creators, and community: strategy, outreach, taste, and the details behind partnerships

Practical Copenhagen (flexible) · 4–5 days/week · 3-6 months (flexible start) How to apply Include the following in your application on The Hub:

  • Your CV
  • 5–10 lines on why social media and influencer marketing interest you
  • One example of a social account, creator, campaign, or brand collaboration you think was especially well done, and why
