Manager, Strategy & Investor Relations

The role Our ambition is to build a $10bn company in the near term. Our mission is to automate profitable growth. We’re building AI that connects a company’s systems, understands what drives performance, and turns decisions into action across ecommerce, real estate and large enterprises in Europe, the GCC and the US. This has been a long time in the making. Years of customer relationships, integrations and industry experience have given us a strong foundation. The technology is now catching up with what we’ve wanted to build. And building a company at this scale takes exceptional people across finance, strategy and execution. This role starts with the equity story. You will need to understand what actually creates value at Manta, be able to explain it to a sceptical investor or board member, and keep that story consistent as the business evolves. Different audiences need different things from the same set of facts. Management needs decisions. Boards need governance and a clear line of sight. Investors and, in time, the public market need a case they can underwrite. Holding those together, without letting the versions drift apart, is the core of the job. The work splits roughly in half. One half is board process: the cycle, the papers, the governance record, and the internal structure and project discipline a company needs during high growth and before it lists. The other half is investor facing: the materials, the questions, the diligence. Some of that time might fall outside Manta, on the other parts of the Vergence portfolio. What you'll do

• Run the board cycle for Manta and its subsidiaries: calendar, agendas, packs, minutes and follow-upAdminister corporate governance: board resolutions, related-party approvals and general meeting documentation, working with legal counselOwn the investor question library, the data room and the response process for due diligence requestsDraft board papers and decision memosOwn investor communication and board materials, and keep the message consistent across all of themUnderstand, develop and use the equity storySupport capital raising and listing readinessStructure internal processes and best practice, and run cross-functional projects to completionReconcile KPIs across board packs, investor materials and the model

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in corporate finance, transaction services, investor relations, equity research or management consulting. Big Four background welcomeHigh proficiency in creating convincing decision-making material, written and verbal, across presentations and financial modellingStrong financial literacy. You can read a set of accounts and say what is wrong with themOperational fluency. You want the recommendation implemented, not filedProactive and self-driven, with a strong drive to produce materials and analyses you're proud to shareHigh ownership and commitmentUsing AI to raise both throughput and quality of outputExcellent written and verbal communication (English required, Norwegian a plus)
