Location Broken Wharf Salary Maintenance Technician - Locke at Broken Wharf Millennium Bridge As a Maintenance Technician, you will support the day-to-day upkeep and maintenance of the hotel property, ensuring all guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house facilities, and equipment are maintained to a high standard. Working closely with the Chief Engineer and wider hotel operations team, you will carry out routine repairs, respond to maintenance requests, and support preventative maintenance programmes to minimise disruption and ensure a safe, comfortable, and operational environment for guests and colleagues. • Carry out routine maintenance and repair work across guest rooms, public areas, back of-house facilities, and hotel equipment to ensure the property is maintained to a high standard.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and minor building repairs, escalating specialist issues where required.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and identify faults in building systems, equipment, and facilities, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and hotel teams in a timely manner, minimising disruption to operations and guest experience
• Support the Chief Engineer with emergency repairs, fault finding, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Monitor and report defects, hazards, or maintenance concerns across the property, ensuring appropriate follow-up action is taken.
• Assist with refurbishment projects, room setups, furniture repairs, and general property improvements as required.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, fire regulations, and safe working practices at all times.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, tools, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and operational readiness.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors, and external suppliers to support the effective operation of the hotel.

• Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
