Machine Learning Specialist

Overview We are supporting a leading automotive technology organisation in the search for a Senior Deep Learning Engineer to join its Dynamic Objects team. This assignment focuses on developing advanced deep learning solutions that enable vehicles to accurately understand and interpret dynamic objects in complex traffic environments. The successful consultant will contribute across the full machine learning lifecycle, working with large-scale datasets, training frameworks, model evaluation pipelines and production deployment activities. The role offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of autonomous driving and perception technologies, collaborating closely with stakeholders, data teams, annotation specialists and deployment engineers. What We're Looking For

• Strong experience developing Deep Learning and Machine Learning models.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow or comparable deep learning frameworks.
• Experience developing scalable training frameworks and data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of model evaluation, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and data annotation processes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured engineering approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of shared training frameworks and data pipelines.
• Define data requirements and annotation strategies.
• Develop KPIs, metrics and evaluation pipelines for model performance.
• Collaborate with annotation and data teams to ensure high-quality datasets.
• Support deployment, validation and maintenance of algorithms in production environments.
• Research and implement modern deep learning architectures and methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvements to perception and dynamic object understanding systems.
