Logistics Specialist

About the position: Start: Immediately Duration: Until 30 June 2027 Scope: Full time, 100% Do you want a central role in one of northern Sweden’s major construction projects? We are now looking for a Logistics Coordinator to become the hub for all transport and logistics matters within a construction stream in Boden. As Logistics Coordinator, you make sure the right materials arrive at the right place at the right time. You work closely with the appointed transport company, contractors and the project organisation, and you have overall responsibility for transport and logistics within your construction stream. • Being the focal point for all transport and logistics matters within your construction stream
• Managing shipments from the warehouse and handover to contractors
• Planning and organising the daily transportation schedule to site
• Monitoring, tracking and ensuring on-time delivery in close cooperation with the transport company
• Assessing carrier performance against set KPIs
• Following up on deviations and logistics costs, and handling reporting

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, transport management, purchasing or project management
• Strong knowledge of international logistics operations and distribution systems, including routing, scheduling and tracking
• Knowledge of Out Of Gauge and Heavy Haulage transports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics platforms or ERP systems
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to start immediately and work on site in Boden
