Silverback is currently recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager on behalf of a leading international client delivering large-scale, high-tech infrastructure in Sweden.
In this key leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end site logistics—orchestrating complex material flows, traffic control, on-site storage, and delivery schedules to keep critical project timelines on track while maintaining strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Logistics Execution: Drive and execute comprehensive site logistics strategies throughout all construction phases.
- Traffic & Access Control: Oversee site access points, traffic management plans, and security protocols to guarantee seamless site movement and zero operational bottlenecks.
- Delivery & Materials Management: Schedule and optimize material deliveries, laydown areas, and inventory handling to ensure minimal site congestion.
- Cross-Functional Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with Project Managers, trade subcontractors, package leads, and key suppliers to harmonize logistics schedules with the master build programme.
- Subcontractor Management: Lead logistics subcontractors, conduct performance reviews, and run regular logistics coordination sessions.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential site constraints, access bottlenecks, or supply delays early and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain thorough documentation, movement permits, and safety records while championing a secure, structured working environment.
- Reporting: Prepare structured logistics status reports and project updates for senior project leadership.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or an equivalent technical discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years of dedicated logistics management experience within large-scale construction, civil engineering, or major build environments.
- Industry Background: Direct experience on mission-critical, data centre, or industrial mega-projects is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with site traffic planning, dynamic material handling, and complex site sequencing.
- Core Competencies: Outstanding organizational drive, conflict-resolution skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in high-velocity environments.
- Health & Safety: Strong working knowledge of site health, safety, and environmental standards.
