Locality Expert – Maps Data Quality

THE ROLE Are you detail-oriented with a passion for geographic accuracy? Join our team as a Locality Expert, where you'll verify and validate Maps Data to ensure it reflects real-world changes. You'll audit critical geographic attributes—locations, names, platforms, entrances, exits, and transit positions across different transportation modes—by comparing them against trustworthy sources via web research. Your work ensures millions of users have accurate, real-time geographic information. WHAT YOU'LL DO Audit Maps Data against real-world conditions and trustworthy sources to verify accuracy. You'll evaluate and update critical geographic attributes, work independently while managing your performance metrics, and meet defined SLA/TAT timelines. You'll also identify opportunities for improvement and communicate insights to your team lead, contributing to continuous quality enhancement. WHO YOU ARE You hold a bachelor's degree in a related field or have 2+ years of equivalent professional experience in a similar role. You have fair knowledge of Google Maps and geospatial data, basic understanding of Transit/GTFS knowledge, and strong attention to detail. Excellent English communication skills and proficiency with Excel are essential. You're tech-savvy, can work independently, and have the flexibility to work different shifts based on business needs. Nice-to-have skills include experience with vector data analysis, basic GIS map component knowledge, and PL/SQL basics. WHY JOIN US?
