About the role We are looking for two Legal Counsels to join our Legal & Compliance team in Virum, Denmark. You will join a small, dedicated team of colleagues who daily provides timely, commercially relevant legal and compliance advice that enables our line of business to deliver complex engineering projects. Your role is key in ensuring that NNE navigates complex legal, contractual, and compliance matters effectively, while supporting our colleagues and projects across Denmark, India, and the US. You will report directly to the General Counsel, who heads the Legal & Compliance team globally. This is a generalist, hands-on role where your time split roughly equally between legal and compliance work. You will see the practical impact of your advice across the organisation, and you will be given responsibility from the outset, while working alongside experienced colleagues who will support your continued development. If you are qualified as a Danish attorney (advokat), you can retain your practising certificate in this role. Location Denmark - Virum Experience Minimum 3 Years Department NNE Denmark How you might spend your days As a Legal Counsel, you’ll be:

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating consultancy agreements and a wide range of other commercial contracts, including supplier, software, framework and data processing agreements
• Advising projects on contractual matters, change orders and claims
• Driving key elements of our compliance programme across business ethics, data protection, confidentiality and AI governance, including internal audits
• Developing and maintaining legal and compliance policies, standards and procedures
• Delivering training and awareness activities across the business

What you bring to the role In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:

• A master’s degree in law (cand.jur.) or business law (cand.merc.jur.) or an equivalent legal qualification
• Around 3-5 years of experience from a law firm and/or an in-house legal function
• A broad legal foundation and an interest in working across different areas of law and compliance
• Excellent written and spoken English
• A responsible, curious approach to AI and new technology.
