About CapFore CapFore covers the whole NPL cycle on unsecured consumer portfolios, using our own purpose-built platform and a common operating model adapted to local market and regulatory requirements. That platform is the engine. It runs newly acquired portfolios for institutional investors, and existing back books for credit institutions and collection agencies looking to improve recovery performance and economics. Sweden is already operational, with the first mandates secured and portfolios on the platform. As we continue to scale our Swedish business, we are now looking for an Operations Director to take responsibility for the day-to-day performance and continued development of our Swedish collection operations. The role As Legal Counsel, you will have responsibility for legal matters relating to CapFore’s Swedish business and help ensure that our credit servicing, debt collection and NPL activities are conducted in accordance with Swedish legal and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on role. You will report functionally to CapFore’s Head of Legal and locally to the Country Manager. You will work closely with both to ensure strong legal governance and close alignment with the Swedish business. You will be directly involved to legal collection, disputed claims, court proceedings, regulatory matters, contracts and NPL transactions. We are not looking for someone simply to maintain established legal processes. We are looking for someone who understands the legal framework, but also sees opportunities to improve how things are done – using technology, data and automation to develop smarter, more efficient and scalable collection and legal processes. The role is well suited to an experienced legal professional who is ready to take broader responsibility and have real influence on how a growing Swedish business is built. You will be employed by CapFore AB. Our Swedish office is in Gothenburg, where we expect you to spend around three days a week. Key responsibilities

• Take responsibility for legal matters relating to CapFore’s Swedish operations
• Own and develop the Swedish legal framework for credit servicing, debt collection and NPL activities
• Owning local compliance and risk framework including data protection and AML matters
• Provide practical legal advice across the Swedish business
• Support and develop CapFore’s legal collection and recovery processes
• Provide legal expertise in matters involving Kronofogden, enforcement proceedings and Swedish courts
• Assess disputed claims and advise on appropriate legal action
• Support regulatory matters and dialogue with Finansinspektionen and other relevant authorities
• Translate legal and regulatory requirements into practical operational and system requirements
• Support NPL portfolio acquisitions, including legal due diligence, portfolio documentation and transaction structures
• Review and negotiate servicing agreements, portfolio purchase agreements and other commercial contracts
• Monitor relevant Swedish legislation, regulation and case law and support implementation within the organisation
• Manage and coordinate external legal counsel where required

Your background We are looking for a qualified lawyer with relevant practical experience who is ready to take responsibility for legal matters in Sweden. You do not need to be a highly senior legal executive, more important is that you have the right experience, sound legal judgement, a pragmatic mindset and the ambition to take ownership and develop the function.

• A Swedish Master of laws degree or equivalent legal qualification
• Relevant professional experience within debt collection, credit servicing, debt purchasing, banking, consumer finance or another credit-focused environment
• Good knowledge of Swedish debt collection legislation and regulatory requirements
• Practical understanding of legal collection, Kronofogden and court proceedings
• Experience in handling disputed claims
• Experience with NPL portfolios, debt purchasing or credit servicing is highly relevant
• Ability and confidence to make independent legal assessments and take responsibility for legal matters in Sweden
• A commercial, pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to legal issues
• A proactive mindset and the ability to see possibilities and solutions rather than simply identifying legal constraints
• A genuine interest in challenging established collection practices and using technology, data and automation to develop better ways of working
• Fluent Swedish and English

Experience from a debt purchaser, credit servicer or DCA, bank, consumer finance company, law firm or another credit-focused institution is directly relevant. Why CapFore CapFore started in Finland in 2024 and today operates across Finland and Sweden through a lean, founder-led organisation in Helsinki and Gothenburg, with short decision paths and one technology platform. Norway and Poland are planned to launch in early 2027. The Swedish business has a proven foundation, but much of its future is still there to be built. As Legal Counsel, you will have the opportunity to shape how legal collection is managed rather than simply operate within established processes, with real influence on the legal framework, collection processes and technology platform as the Swedish business grows.
