Here is what the job entails In the role as our next Lead Systems Engineer, your job will be to drive the technical definition and realization of complex smart metering solutions across hardware, firmware, connectivity, and cloud domains, ensuring robust and verifiable solutions throughout the product lifecycle. You will act as a key technical authority between architecture and implementation, governing the system's perspective across disciplines and ensuring that system requirements, interfaces, integration, and validation are aligned from concept to deployment. Therefore, you will work with advanced connectivity and Internet of Things technologies while collaborating closely with Solution Architects, developers, and product teams. This is a highly visible technical role with significant influence on product direction, engineering excellence, and the future development of the Systems Engineering discipline. Meet your future team With direct references to the Director of Connectivity, you will become part of the Solutions Architects team within the Water Division. Together with colleagues in Connectivity Development and Connectivity Technology, the team is responsible for defining the solution foundations that enable smart metering products across the Kamstrup portfolio. As an added advantage, you may also have experience with requirements management tools, system specification, verification and validation, and wireless communication technologies; familiarity with IoT connectivity solutions across short-range, long-range, and cellular networks; knowledge of standardized interoperability protocols and industry frameworks and the ability to a structured and analytical approach to solving complex technical challenges.
