Lead Solution Architect - Cloud

Our Portfolio Area Cloud plays a key role in driving this transformation, delivering solutions that create real business value for our customers. We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect/Designer to join our team in Copenhagen and help shape the next generation of cloud solutions for our national and international customers. In this role you will play a key role in bridging customer needs, cloud technology and business value. Working closely with our sales teams, architects, delivery specialists and portfolio experts, you will take ownership of designing end-to-end cloud solutions that are technically robust, commercially competitive and ready for successful delivery. You will be a trusted technical partner throughout the customer engagement, helping translate complex requirements into practical, future-proof solutions. What you'll be doing

• Design impactful cloud solutions: Develop end-to-end architectures across private, public, hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including cloud migration, modernisation, security and integration.
• Turn customer needs into solutions: Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, secure and commercially viable cloud designs.
• Shape winning proposals: Partner with sales and bid teams to develop compelling technical solutions, contribute to customer presentations and support complex IT outsourcing opportunities.
• Balance innovation and commercial value: Evaluate solution options, costs, risks and delivery requirements to achieve the right balance between performance, feasibility and business value.
• Collaborate across borders: Work with international teams, delivery units, security specialists and portfolio experts to ensure seamless solution development and handover.
• Stay ahead of the market: Bring industry knowledge, cloud expertise and an understanding of emerging technologies to help strengthen our solutions and competitive positioning.
• Drive continuous improvement: Contribute to architecture standards, solution frameworks and best practices across our Cloud Portfolio.

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness, a collaborative mindset and a genuine passion for solving customer challenges. Ideally, you will bring:

• Proven experience in cloud solution design, solution architecture or technical presales, preferably within IT services, managed services or IT outsourcing.
• Great knowledge of private, public and hybrid cloud environments, cloud infrastructure and enterprise IT architectures.
• Experience designing complex end-to-end IT solutions and contributing to technical proposals or large-scale customer engagements.
• The ability to balance technical requirements, commercial considerations, delivery capabilities and customer expectations.
• Great analytical and problem-solving skills, with the confidence to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and international teams.
• A proactive, structured and customer-focused approach, with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
