What you'll do

Are you ready to take an active role in site supervision across demanding international projects? We are now looking for Site Engineers across several technical disciplines to join Granlunds growing Site Services team.

_Granlund is a rapidly growing expert organization in the real estate and construction sector. Together with our clients and stakeholders, we are building a sustainable and intelligent future. Our more than 1,600 professionals serve across 30 locations throughout Finland._

Would you be our new Lead Site Engineer?

As a Lead Site Engineer, you will lead and coordinate Site Engineers across technically demanding projects, ensuring that work progresses according to approved plans, quality standards, contractual requirements, and agreed objectives.

You will serve as the main point of contact for the client in site supervision matters and coordinate collaboration between clients, contractors, designers, project management, and other stakeholders. Your responsibilities will cover resource coordination, site safety and work permit practices, working-hour monitoring, reporting, and the implementation of client agreements in daily operations.

While leading the overall site supervision activities, you will also stay closely involved in the work on site. You will monitor progress, review work phases and installations, interpret technical documentation, and ensure that quality issues and deviations are addressed appropriately. The projects cover several technical disciplines, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and building automation engineering.

The position is full-time and permanent, and you will be employed directly by Granlund. The work is strongly site-based, with projects located mainly in Southern Finland, typically within one to two hours of Helsinki. The role requires regular presence at project sites and readiness to travel.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced site supervision professional with a background in demanding construction, industrial, infrastructure, or data center projects. You have experience coordinating people, resources, and activities in technical site environments and feel comfortable taking responsibility for larger project entities.

To succeed in this role, you combine a relevant technical degree with a solid understanding of site operations and quality management. You can confidently interpret drawings, plans, and project documentation, and experience in quality supervision or acting on behalf of a client is considered a strong advantage. Familiarity with Dalux, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or FIDIC contracts is beneficial but not essential.

Excellent English skills are required, while Finnish language skills are considered an advantage. The role also requires a valid driving licence and a willingness to work regularly at project sites.

As a person, you are proactive, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. You communicate effectively with different stakeholders, are not afraid to raise concerns when quality or project requirements are at risk, and know how to keep matters moving forward in demanding project environments.

Why join us?

At Granlund, you will work in a company that has been a pioneer in Finnish building services engineering for decades. You will contribute to demanding and large-scale projects such as data centers and commercial environments, where your work truly matters. As one of the leading data center design and consulting companies in the Nordics, we offer long-term career opportunities in a rapidly growing field, where projects are becoming increasingly significant in scale and impact. You will have strong opportunities to grow and develop your expertise, with career paths that can be shaped around your strengths and interests.

We place real emphasis on employee well-being, continuous learning, and a supportive, professional work environment. You will be part of a collaborative and ambitious team where people take ownership, share knowledge, and work together toward common goals.
