Lead Front End Developer - Data Vis

Lead Frontend Engineer, Engineering & Analytics Software We're hiring a Lead Frontend Engineer to own the frontend architecture of a complex engineering application. Think large datasets, persistent user state and interactive 2D/3D visualization, built for technical users who expect it to be fast and dependable. The role You'll set the frontend architecture and standards for a React and TypeScript codebase, and stay hands-on while doing it. You'll work closely with domain experts, product, design and backend engineers to turn hard requirements into workflows people actually enjoy using. You'll also have a say in API design and occasionally work beyond the frontend. What you bring

• Strong React and TypeScript
• Experience leading the frontend architecture of a complex production app, ideally in analytics, simulation, scientific or other data-heavy software
• State management experience (Zustand, TanStack Query, Redux or similar)
• Proven browser performance work on large datasets: async loading, render optimization, memory management
• Solid testing, debugging, observability and production-troubleshooting habits
• Pragmatic judgment: you can explain trade-offs and balance maintainability against delivery

Big pluses

• D3.js, Plotly, Three.js, WebGL or Canvas
• Background in scientific computing, CAD, GIS or another engineering discipline
