Lead 3D Artist

As a Lead 3D Artist, you will set the visual benchmark for 3D content, guiding the team with both artistic vision and technical direction. You’ll take ownership of major environment and prop pipelines, collaborating across disciplines to ensure the world we build is visually compelling, technically sound, and deeply immersive. What you will do

• Provide leadership and mentorship to the 3D art team, influencing visual standards and helping drive project decisions.
• Manage, coordinate, and support team members to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality results across all 3D asset creation.
• Manage external art partners to ensure high-quality assets that meet artistic, technical, and production requirements on time.
• Work from reference, 3D scan or concept art to model, sculpt, and texture realistic 3D assets.
• Create high-poly sculpts and bake them down to optimized, game-resolution models.
• Generate photorealistic textures using PBR workflows and tools.
• Prototype quick meshes to explore form and composition early in production.
• Collaborate with the world art and design teams to ensure assets fit gameplay and narrative needs.
• Independently manage workload and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.
• Optimize assets for performance, including collision and LODs, while adhering to technical constraints.

Who you are

• Proficient in industry-standard 3D tools such as Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, etc.
• Experienced with PBR workflows and photorealistic asset creation.
• Familiar with integrating and cleaning scan data into production pipelines.

Salary range Starting from 60,000 SEK per month, rising to 85,000 with experience, plus bi-annual bonus, and perks.
