Lab technician in neurobiology

Department of Molecular Biology & Genetics at Aarhus University is looking for a skilled lab technician for neurobiology. We need a new colleague from January 1st, 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter. Expected start date and duration of employment This is a permanent position from January 1st, 2027 or as soon possible. Job description

• You will be responsible for culturing primary rat neurons, maintaining the lab supply, reagents, antibody libraries, stock solutions, and routine assays in biochemistry, and cloning
• You will be working primarily with neuron cultures and brain tissues
• You will be involved in lab management, purchasing, invoicing and the use of other university admin systems
• These activities will be in close collaboration with lab members

Your profile

• Experience in primary neuron cultures, cloning, biochemistry, genetics
• Lab management skills
• Communication and/or language skills in English and Danish
• Personal skills

You will be employed as a Lab technician in salary group 2-6 depending on seniority and qualifications.
