What you'll do

EQL Global · Stockholm (hybrid) · Full-time European financial institutions rely on a handful of global data vendors, most of them American. EQL Global is building the European alternative: institutional financial data and AI workflows, hosted in Sweden and built around the rules European institutions operate under — MiFID II, DORA, GDPR and the EU AI Act. We cover more than 33,000 listed companies in 89 countries, including every exchange-listed company in Europe. Filings, transcripts, press releases, reported financials and estimates are delivered three ways: EQL Desktop, our analyst workspace; an API for teams building their own models and tools; and an MCP connector that brings the data straight into AI assistants such as Claude. The role We're building our commercial team and are looking for an Account Manager to own the Swedish market. You'll sell to banks, asset managers, brokers and investment platforms, as well as investor relations teams at listed companies, taking each deal from first meeting to signed contract and growing the account from there. What you'll do

  • Own a portfolio of Swedish accounts end to end, from prospecting and discovery through demos, pilots, negotiation and close.
  • Turn pilots into contracts by agreeing on success criteria up front and driving every evaluation to a clear decision.
  • Guide customers through procurement, IT security review and vendor due diligence, including DORA and GDPR requirements.
  • Grow existing customers with more users, broader coverage and additional products across Desktop, API and MCP.
  • Run a disciplined pipeline and forecast, and bring what you hear in the market back to the product team.

What you bring

  • Three or more years in B2B sales or account management, ideally selling data, research or software to financial institutions.
  • A track record of closing enterprise deals through long sales cycles with many stakeholders: portfolio managers and analysts, but also IT, procurement and compliance.
  • A solid understanding of how analysts and portfolio managers work, and the technical fluency to discuss APIs, data feeds and AI tools with confidence. You don't need to code.
  • Fluent Swedish and English. A network in the Swedish financial sector is a strong advantage.
  • Comfort with building from an early stage. There is no finished playbook here; part of the job is writing it.

What we offer

  • An early seat in the commercial team, working side by side with the founders.
  • A competitive base salary and a commission plan tied to what you close.
  • A growing product range, with new offerings in fund intelligence and investor relations, so there is always a next conversation to have with your accounts.
