Kliniq Contributor (Volunteer)

Company Description Kliniq is a free, independent platform for the path to becoming a doctor in Denmark and Norway, from applying to medicine, through the studies and the first job, to choosing a specialty. It is written by students and doctors and is free for everyone. The platform offers exam sets from SDU in Denmark and UiB in Bergen, each with the principle behind every answer explained, so you understand it and don't just memorise the key. It also has flashcards, a new clinical case every day, practice by module, an admissions quiz with 180 questions for applicants, guides to studying medicine in Denmark and Norway, to choosing a specialty, to the Norwegian LIS1 year and to working as a doctor abroad, and a beta tool for choosing a KBU placement in Denmark based on published evaluations. Our rankings are never for sale. We work by four principles. Understanding before memorising. Learning by doing, with questions and cases instead of passive reading. Accuracy first: answers follow the official answer key, and reported errors are fixed quickly. Neutrality wherever we rank things. Explanations are written with AI and corrected when readers report an error. We supplement teaching and clinical training and do not replace them. Most of our content is in Danish. The UiB (Bergen) material is in Norwegian and English, and our Norway guides are in Norwegian. Kliniq is not affiliated with and not approved by any university. Role Description Kliniq Contributor is a volunteer role. It is unpaid, remote and part-time: from a couple of hours a month to a few hours a week, depending on the track you choose. There is no office and there are no fixed hours. You work from home, and tasks are agreed by e-mail with the Kliniq team. We are looking for contributors who want to help build a platform their fellow students use every day. Choose the track that fits you. Most people do one, and some add a second after a semester. Track 1: Our person at your university (about a couple of hours a month) Much of what matters on a medical degree is written down nowhere: an exam has changed format, a module has a new person in charge, the rules on aids have changed. Only the students there know. As our university contact you:

• Tell us about changes to the curriculum, the exam format and the rules, before they show up on the study page.
• Keep track of which exam sets from your university we have, and tell us when a new one appears after an exam period.
• Help us correct and extend the guide to your university, under your own name if you like.
• Be the person that student councils, associations and fellow students can turn to about Kliniq.
• Tell us what your year is missing and what does not work.
• We have room for one contact at each of SDU, KU, AU, AAU, UiO, UiB, NTNU and UiT. If you study at a branch campus, you are just as welcome. That is often where we know the least.

Track 2: Exam set coordinator (2 to 4 hours a week) Kliniq is built on real exam sets. Most of ours come from SDU today, and we want to cover KU, AU, AAU and the Norwegian universities just as well. That takes someone who keeps the overview, semester after semester. You will:

• Map which exam sets exist at each university and each module, and which ones we are missing.
• Get sets through students, student councils, associations and study boards, by legitimate routes and with the source recorded.
• Keep in touch with the contact people at each university.
• Check that sets are complete and correctly entered before they become quizzes.
• Tell us when new sets appear after an exam period.

We only publish what may be shared, and never anything containing patient information. Track 3: Writer (at your own pace) Blog posts and articles about studying medicine and the path to becoming a doctor, under your own name. Topics could be how to approach an exam and how to study, admission guides (quota 1, quota 2 and life as a new student), experience from clinical placements, student jobs, a research year or an exchange, choosing your KBU and the first months as a doctor, and portraits of specialties and career paths. You write about what you know. You do not need to be an experienced writer: we read along, give feedback and help the text into shape before it is published. Anything medical is read by a person before it goes live. How it works

• You apply with a short note about who you are and why you want to do it. We reply by e-mail, usually within a few days.
• We agree which track fits and what the first task is.
• Depending on the track, you can suggest changes directly on the site. Nothing goes live before we have looked at it.
• We ask you to stay for a semester or two, because these are roles with continuity, not one-off tasks.

What you get

• Your name on what you write, if you want it there.
• Real responsibility for something that medical students can see and use.
• An audience of medical students, and a say in how a free platform for your fellow students is built.
• Something specific to point to: what you wrote or built is public.

There is no payment. Kliniq is free for everyone, and so is working on it. Qualifications For all tracks:

• Studying medicine at SDU, KU, AU, AAU, UiO, UiB, NTNU or UiT, at any semester. For the writer track we also welcome KBU doctors and doctors.
• Able to explain medical or study topics clearly and accurately in writing, in Danish and/or Norwegian or English.
• Careful with facts: you check against official sources and current curricula, and you never share anything you do not have the right to share.
• Reliable: you do what you agreed, or tell us early if you cannot.
• Comfortable writing to people you do not know.
• Able to keep it up for a semester or two and to manage your own time.
• Comfortable working remotely, mostly by e-mail and online.

For the university contact: You want to be the one who knows what is happening on your course, and you notice when something changes. For the exam set coordinator: Systematic, with a good eye for detail and the patience to keep an overview over time. For the writer: You enjoy writing. No experience needed. An advantage, but not required:

• Experience from a student council, an association or a study board.
• Both Danish and Norwegian, or good English.
• Familiarity with digital learning tools.
• Experience with exams at more than one university.
