Role snapshot
As a K Trainee, your experience goes beyond your role as an AI Trainee. You will get to explore K Groups business across different areas and broaden your perspective beyond your own field.
You will take on a hands-on professional role while developing your skills and building a network for the start of your career. A personal mentor, development sessions, job shadowing across our different business divisions and opportunities to meet K Group leaders will bring perspectives beyond your day-to-day role.
You will work as part of the AI Solutions team and contribute to the teams ongoing development work. Your assignments will be determined through the teams shared prioritization and will vary according to current business and technology needs. Your skills and experience will also be considered when determining suitable assignments for you. This gives you the opportunity to work on different AI-related challenges and gain broad, practical experience.
Depending on your assignments, you may work on AI agents and generative AI applications, shared AI platforms and components, system integrations, data processing and RAG solutions. Your work may also involve testing and improving large language model based solutions or supporting their operationalisation, monitoring and continuous development through LLMOps practices. You will collaborate with business and technology specialists and learn to look at AI solutions from both a technical perspective and in terms of the business value they create.
What we expect from you
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Snowflake is considered an advantage. We also consider an interest in developing your communication skills and a willingness to share your K Trainee experience on social media an advantage.
What you will gain as a K Trainee
You will also have access to a wide range of employee benefits, including the ePassi culture and sports benefit, employee discounts at K Group stores, occupational healthcare services and leisure-time accident insurance.
You will work in the modern facilities of K Kampus in Helsinki, where employees have access to a gym, saunas, occupational healthcare services, a staff restaurant and a café. The work is carried out according to K Groups hybrid working practices.
The position is fixed-term from January 2027 to September 2027.
