Junior Site Planning Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Site Planning Engineer to join our Site Planning team. In this role, you will work at the intersection of engineering, customer collaboration, and international installation projects, helping ensure that our systems integrate seamlessly into customer facilities around the world. Your tasks will include creating, updating, and maintaining laboratory and facility layouts using CREO. and supporting site planning for customer installations and system deployments. You will verify equipment positioning, utility requirements, and site readiness information, ensuring that electrical connections, water supply, cabling, and other infrastructure needs are accurately reflected in the plans. You will also coordinate installation schedules with customers and our internal installation teams, identify potential site constraints, and help find practical engineering solutions. In addition, you will maintain layout-related information in our ERP system (Roima LEAN) support customers with site-planning questions and documentation, and help ensure that site planning activities are completed according to agreed schedules and quality standards.

We are looking for someone with a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Design, or another relevant technical discipline. You are technically minded, eager to learn, and enjoy solving practical engineering challenges with a structured and detail-oriented approach. You have hands-on experience with CREO or SolidWorks, gained through previous work, internships, university projects, or personal projects, and are comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models. You communicate confidently in English and are comfortable working with different stakeholders in a customer-oriented environment. You are proactive, organized, and willing to take ownership of your tasks while developing your expertise in site planning, facility integration, and project coordination. You are also comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.

We also appreciate previous experience with facility layout planning, installation projects, or engineering documentation, as well as knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or building infrastructure systems. Familiarity with ERP systems and experience working in an international environment are considered an advantage. An understanding of building regulations, electrical requirements, or industrial safety standards is also beneficial. In addition, good organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills will support you in managing multiple tasks and working effectively with different stakeholders.

Main responsibilities:

What we expect from you

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Design, or a comparable technical discipline

• Mandatory hands-on experience with CREO or SolidWorks through work experience, internships, university projects, or personal projects

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and 3D models

• Strong command of English, both written and spoken
