Junior Product Manager

WE ARE LOOKING FOR JUNIOR PRODUCT MANAGER Are you interested in combining technology, business, and practical product development? Would you like to work with automated vehicle marshalling systems and learn how complex products are developed, and delivered to customers? We are looking for a Junior Product Manager to support the product management function at Unikie Marshalling. The role is initially strongly hands-on and operational. You will help maintain the product structure, documentation, instructions, requirements, and roadmap information, while gradually developing your understanding of customer needs, product strategy, and the wider product-management function. This is a suitable opportunity for a recent graduate, a student nearing graduation, or an early-career professional who is curious, structured, eager to learn, and comfortable working with both technical and business-oriented topics. The role reports directly to the Director, Product Management and is based in Finland, preferably Tampere. We work in a hybrid mode. The position will be filled as soon as we find the right candidate, so we encourage you to apply promptly. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and develop the product structure, product configuration, and related information.
• Create, update, and organize product documentation, user instructions, and operational guidance.
• Support the maintenance and communication of product roadmaps and requirements.
• Coordinate information and follow-up activities between product management, development, engineering, safety, deployment, and other internal teams.
• Support the preparation of product-related material for internal use, deployments, and customers.
• Gradually develop an understanding of customer needs and participate in selected customer and deployment activities.

The role includes practical and sometimes repetitive maintenance work. You are expected to perform such tasks independently, while asking for clarification when something is unclear or requires a decision. Skills Required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Relevant studies, education, or practical background combining technical understanding with business, operations, or product-oriented thinking.
• Basic understanding of software development or technical products, and an interest in areas such as ICT, software engineering, telecommunications, automation, or connected systems.
• Interest in the business perspective of products and customer needs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with software developers, engineers, and other technical specialists.
• Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive working style, with the ability to work independently and follow up on open matters.
• Curiosity, eagerness to learn, willingness to ask questions, and ability to provide constructive criticism.
• Fluent finnish and english communication skills

We are open to candidates with different educational and professional backgrounds. A university or university of applied sciences degree is welcome, but it is not a strict requirement. Relevant studies, a thesis, internships, projects, or demonstrated practical experience may provide suitable preparation for the role. ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE The following experience is considered an advantage, but is not required:

• Studies or practical experience in ICT, software engineering, industrial management, telecommunications, automation, or a related field.
• Product management, product operations, requirements management, or technical documentation.
• Configuration management, product structures, or roadmap maintenance.
• Software products, industrial systems, connected devices, or automation.
• Agile software development or issue-tracking tools.
• Customer projects, technical deployments, or cross-functional coordination.
• German or French language skills.
