What you'll do

About the role

In this role, you will join our client's innovation unit focusing on digital innovation and sustainability. You will work within a small, agile team, where your mission is to support various R&D projects through data analysis, software development, and prototyping.

The team has high standards, but they are now looking for a new talent who is eager to learn and take on diverse tasks. This is a 6-month consultancy assignment through Academic Work, with a strong possibility of long-term career progression within the company.

Work tasks

Your work will be highly varied, moving between data processing, AI assisted software developing, and stakeholder collaboration.

  • Data Science & AI: Manual and automated data labeling, working with Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract information from images, and gathering data from public/commercial APIs.
  • Software Development: AI assisted software development, writing Python scripts, developing AWS Lambda functions, and building features for cloud-based services.
  • Pilot Projects: Analyzing sensor data from the field, investigating device installations, and running analysis on historical data from pilot sites.
  • DevOps & Automation: Utilizing AI tools to automatize monitoring of AWS accounts for anomalies (e.g., cost spikes or errors) and to streamline development
  • Collaboration: Participating in workshops and meetings with stakeholders and customers. You won't just be coding; youll be part of the solution design.

We are looking for

  • A relevant academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Technology).
  • Solid foundational skills in Python.
  • Previous exposure to traditional Machine Learning and/or Large Language Models.
  • Experience or understanding of cloud platforms (preferably AWS, but Azure or Google Cloud experience is a great head start).
  • Personality: Proactive, independent, and communicative. You are not afraid to ask "why" and you enjoy working in a team where ideas are shared openly.
  • Language: Fluency in English
