Java Software Engineer

Java Software Engineer We are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer to join a team developing complex, mission-critical software for advanced security and surveillance systems. The systems provide situational awareness and protection for people and critical infrastructure. The team works in stable, cross-disciplinary product teams based on Scrum. Your responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java-based software modules
• Ensure product quality through rigorous testing, thorough documentation and adherence to industry standards
• Build reliable, scalable software solutions that support operational requirements
• Work closely with system engineers and testers to continuously improve the product
• Translate customer requirements, system constraints and bug reports into clean, maintainable code

Your profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering, computer science, data science or a related field
• Documented track record as a software engineer, either back-end or full-stack
• Strong Java development experience
• Experience with software design through all steps: requirements, architectural design, implementation and testing
• Practical experience with code reviews and knowledge sharing in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery setup
• Experience working in agile teams using Scrum
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Danish is an advantage but not a requirement
