What you'll do
Java / Keycloak Developer Our client is looking for an experienced Java developer with hands-on Keycloak expertise to join their team in Gothenburg. You’ll be building and maintaining secure identity and access management solutions as part of a long-running programme, with the contract expected to extend well beyond the initial 6 months. Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based services and applications
- Configure, customise and extend Keycloak, including realms, clients, roles, identity providers and custom authentication flows
- Build custom Keycloak extensions (SPIs, authenticators, event listeners)
- Integrate applications using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML
- Work closely with architects, security specialists and fellow developers in an agile environment
Essential skills
- Strong commercial experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred)
- Proven hands-on experience with Keycloak in production environments
- Solid understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SAML
- Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Comfortable working onsite in Gothenburg 4 days per week
Desirable
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
- Background in enterprise or regulated environments
