IT Specialist - Commercial Retail Applications Support - Gdansk or Aarhus

About The Job As an IT Specialist for Commercial Retail Applications, you will become part of the Retail Product team within Arla IT. Your primary focus will be supporting Visualfabriq, a key SaaS solution used for promotion planning and trade investment management across Arla markets. You also will contribute to supporting other retail solutions ad hoc. You will work closely with business users, vendors, super users, and other IT teams to ensure stable operations, efficient support, and continuous improvement of the solution. This role offers a unique opportunity to build expertise in retail planning and Trade Promotion Management while supporting a business-critical SaaS platform used across multiple markets. As we work in Product Teams we are responsible for full life cycle of the application, so you will be involved in all stages of the product from implementation to decommissioning. Main responsibilities

• Provide second-line support for Visualfabriq users across multiple markets, ensuring stable day-to-day operations.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents, service requests, and user access issues in a timely manner.
• Manage user administration, including access provisioning, role assignments, and security compliance.
• Support testing and deployment activities for system enhancements, releases, and business-driven changes.
• Monitor application performance and analyze recurring issues to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with vendors, business stakeholders, and internal IT teams, while maintaining documentation, knowledge articles, and user training materials.

Who are you?

• You have experience supporting business applications within a retail, commercial, or Trade Promotion Management environment.
• You have a solid understanding of IT Service Management and are familiar with ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
• You enjoy analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and turning complexity into practical solutions.
• You collaborate effectively with business users, vendors, and IT colleagues in an international environment.
• You take ownership, are eager to learn, and thrive in a role where technology and business processes come together.

Furthermore you are Fluent in English and are able to be present in office 50% of the time. Nice to have

• Experience with Visualfabriq or similar Trade Promotion Management solutions.
• Experience supporting SaaS applications.
• Experience with user administration, testing, or release activities.
